RESOLVED: Acquia Support Alert (27-Jul-2010): Acquia Hosting email server on a number of blacklists.

Issue:
We've been alerted that one of our new mail servers is on a number of spam blacklists.

Impact to you:
Mail sent from your Drupal site may not be received by intended recipients and an email bounce (rejection) email may be returned. Any rejection email will be sent to the "From" address as you configured it for your site.

Actions being taken:
Our Hosting Operations team is working to get the server removed from these blacklists ASAP. We'll post an update once done.

Status:

One Acquia Hosting email relay was blacklisted at:

* trustedsource.com - confirmed resolved
* barracudacentral.com - confirmed resolved
* att.net - unconfirmed resolved

We've received no additional reports of bounced mail today and believe this issue is resolved. Please notify support@acquia.com if you receive reports of email not making it to your recipients (and not caught in their spam filter) and we will promptly investigate.

Unfortunately, this is an issue that will arise from time to time as mail services are forced to be increasingly restrictive in their battle against spam.
