Acquia strives to deliver the most secure hosting environments possible. Early May and then in June, we emailed affected customers that we would be disabling the unencrypted "svn://" protocol to update the site's SVN repository.
On Monday, June 27th, we permanently disabled the "svn://" protocol. If the correct protocol (https://) is not used, you will not be able to access your SVN repository.
You must use the encrypted HTTPS protocol.
To change the protocol, you need to change the prefix of your SVN URL from "svn://" to "https://" in all of your SVN commands.
If you have existing local check outs using "svn://", use the "svn switch" command to change the protocol to HTTPS. Run the "svn info" command in the root directory of your checkout to check the protocol. For example:
$ cd /path/to/repo
$ svn info . | grep URL svn://svn-1.prod.hosting.acquia.com/[SITENAME]
$ svn switch --relocate svn://svn-1.prod.hosting.acquia.com/[SITENAME] https://svn-1.prod.hosting.acquia.com/[SITENAME]
