Acquia Customer Service Notice - Acquia Cloud Maintenance 12/10, 12/11

As part of an AWS systems upgrade, Amazon has rescheduled the majority of our US East server instances for reboots. To minimize impact, Acquia is proactively managing these reboots.

For Dev Cloud Customers:

  • When: Dev Cloud customers may initiate the reboot themselves using their Acquia Network control panel. Remaining instances will be rebooted by Acquia between Sunday, December 11, 6PM and 11PM EST.
  • Maintenance: Server reboot
  • Effect: Acquia Cloud servers will be rebooted and customers may notice a brief outage
  • Expected downtime: No more than 5 minutes

For Managed Cloud Customers:

  • When:

    Saturday, December 10 at 9PM EST and Sunday, December 11 at 8AM EST
    Sunday, December 11 at 9PM EST and Monday, December 12 at 8AM EST
  • Maintenance: Server reboot
  • Effect: Managed Cloud’s high-availability architecture prevents significant impact during these reboots. However, some sites may experience temporary slowness or a few seconds of unavailability as caches are rebuilt.
  • Expected downtime: None to no more than a few seconds
