author and date display confusion

I have configure the Aquamarine theme to not show the author and date for content. There is an option to "Use custom settings for each content type instead of the default above". The problem is, that when I go to Content Types, neither Story nor Page have a place to override this setting. So, it is either all or none, either Stories an Pages show this, or they do not.

What I want is to show author and date on Stories but not on Pages.

Also, I went to global settings for themes, and under "Display post information on", I disable both Page and Story. But, the author and date still show, even with these disabled.

The global settings will only be used if you have not "submitted" the settings form for the Acquia Marina theme, or if you hit "Reset to defaults" on that page, though even then I'm not sure how the globals will interact with the theme.

On the Acquia Marina config page, scroll down to Author & date, check the "Use custom..." box, then the settings for the individual node types are directly underneath. If you can't see them then try using a different browser. I know that occasionally Firefox at least has problems displaying collapsible fieldsets.

Ahhh... I see those now... perhaps having the fieldsets with a different background color might make things easier to distinguish? I get lost in a lot of the interface with all the section and collapsibles, although I love the Acqamarine theme in genera.

Yes I'm not sure if I've ever seen quite so many levels of nested fieldsets before!

Doh - only just realised why Acquiamarine sounded (almost) like a word..!
