"Junction point creation failed" error on site creation

Hello

I recently installed Dev Desktop on Win7 and tried to install my first Drupal8 server but I get this error :

Downloading your Drupal distribution...
https://www.acquia.com/sites/default/files/downloads/drupal/drupal-8.1.3... of 12244 KBytes downloaded
Extracting Drupal archive...
to S:\Informatique\prive\TIC\Portail\Drupal_sites\drupal-8.1.3
Registering Drupal site...
Symlink error: Junction point creation failed (ioctl_return=0xdeadbeef) (1)

Can anyone help ?
Thank you

It seems to fail when creating a symlink. I suspect that it might be because you seem to be installing this on a network drive (S:) and not your local.

Your're right David, Install only works on C drive, even not on a 2nd local hard drive.

Thank you for your help

Are there plans to support network drives for source location in the future?
Also, will we ever be able to change the source location easily? As things work today, the only way to do this is to completely uninstall Acquia Dev Desktop, reboot, and reinstall it. This is terrible.

Does anyone have a solution to this?
