How to change a subscription's domain name (after client organization changes its name)

I am running a site for my neighborhood association; it has just changed its name from "Center Neighborhood Association" to "North Tabor Neighborhood Association", and thus the site is moving from centerpdx.org to northtabor.org.

is there a way through Acquia's web interface that I can directly edit the target domain name for an active subscription?

Yes, you can easily change the target url and the name of your subscription from the "Settings" tab. It will look similar to this for you.

You can either rename it or unsubscribe from settings. You need to visit the path /usr/local/psa/bin/domain along with the option “-new_name”. It will let you rename the domain name of your choice as available at domainia.com.

Also you can follow these instruction to unsubscribe:
• Login to your account as administrator.
• Click on “Subscriptions” option, situated as left menu.
• Now select “needed subscription”.
• Go to control panel and select “Websites & Domains” tab.
• Here click “domain name” option at the bottom of page.
• It will show you a field like as "Domain name *" where you can change the domain name.
• At last click “OK”.

Hope the answer would be helpful to you. Let me know if there is any other query.
